Company validation procedure for Comodo EV SSL certificates

EV stands for Extended Validation. Extended Validation means the company that owns the domain, is verified by the authority / company that issues the SSL certificate. Thus, EV SSL certificates can only be issued for domains that are owned by ogranizations and companies and not by private persons.
